“Doc Sherring was a man from yore;
Who always lead from the fore…
He came from far, to treat the ill;
He cured them off all evil
But there were some resistant strain,
That always caused agony and pain…
Cancerous they were, without a cure;
Even the Doc was not too sure
Yet he snapped them all from long range,
Bringing life to the claim for a change
Then they came all of a sudden;
Heretics with swords-venom laden
He culled them all without mercy
And those outside feared heresy
He had his foes-The Men of Wile;
Who beat him with deception and guile…
Later that year, he was gone
And still we are hoping for a dawn
That was the life of Doc Herring,
Who in the tale of life was no red herring…”
